Phone Applications and Sex Assault Charges in NJ

State and local police have long-warned the risks of meeting individuals through websites and phone applications like “Plenty of Fish”, “Tinder”, “Bumble”, “Zoosk” etc. Recently, Police have begun using these applications as a means of trapping potential criminals by pretending to be underage boys or girls. In the case here, Cinnaminson Police were able to utilize the application after the alleged incident to trap and arrest Mr. Manson. Whether you are a victim or a Defendant, it is important that you understand that the people you speak with online are not always what they seem.
